Math Competition Overview

Our philosophy is "to learn mathematics is to do mathematics." 
  
Such a philosophy will reflect in the types of questions we ask and the type of tasks we expect our students to engage. Clearly our prime directive is to help the kids become a learner and a problem solver in the subject area. We can motivate the kids through competitions.  
 
The purpose of PUMA’s math competition, an important part of learning mathematics, is to introduce youngsters to math challenges in a fun and enjoyable way, thus inspiring their further interest and advancement in mathematics.  Our competition is based on Ontario curriculum. The competition will be held yearly in GTA from grade 1 through grade 12.
